Model

Smoking shall be prohibited in the following outdoor places:

  1. Within twenty (20) feet of any outside entrance, exit, operable window, or ventilation intake of an enclosed public place or workplace where smoking is prohibited.
     
  2. Outdoor seating or serving areas of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, taverns, and retail food marketing establishments, and within twenty (20) feet thereof.
     
  3. Outdoor sports arenas, stadiums, sports fields, swimming pools, ice rinks, and amphitheaters, except in clearly marked smoking areas at least twenty (20) feet from any seating area or concession. Smoking shall be prohibited in all seating areas, bleachers, and grandstands.
     
  4. Public transportation stations, platforms, and shelters.
     
  5. Outdoor service lines.
     
  6. In outdoor common areas of nursing homes and acute care substance abuse treatment centers, except in designated smoking areas, which must be located at least twenty (20) feet from entrances, operable windows, and ventilation intakes of areas where smoking is prohibited.
