Model

"Employee" means a person who works for an employer in consideration for direct or indirect monetary wages or profits, or a person who volunteers his or her services for an employer. "Employee" does not include a person who is a member of a private club and volunteers his or her time to the club without compensation.

Section 22. (a)
As used in this section, the following words shall have the following meanings, unless the context requires otherwise:

"Employee", an individual or person who performs a service for compensation for an employer at the employer's workplace, including a contract employee, temporary employee, and independent contractor who performs a service in the employer's workplace for more than a de minimis amount of time.

Section 10. Definitions. In this Act:

"Employee" means a person who is employed by an employer in consideration for direct or indirect monetary wages or profits or a person who volunteers his or her services for a non-profit entity.

A. Definitions. The following words phrases, whenever used in this section, shall be construed as defined in this section:

1. "Employee" means and person who performs any service on a full-time, part-time or contracted basis whether or not the person is denominated an employee, independent contractor or otherwise and whether or not the person is compensated or is a volunteer.
